Kennedy’s second year at North ended when he ruptured his right anterior cruciate ligament in a pre-season game against Greater Western Sydney.

Compounding his disappointment, Kennedy’s performance against the Giants had been his most impressive at the club; he had presented strongly in attack and kicked two goals. The athletic young tall will be given plenty of time to work his way back to fitness and form.
