Despite his light frame the tall defender’s first year at North was promising, and he established himself as a regular member of North Ballarat’s strong VFL team, often playing alongside elder brother and fellow Roo Luke.

Delaney has the agility and pace to run off bigger and stronger opponents, and looks to have a bright future.

He made his debut in round two of 2012 against the Giants.
