Couldn't break into the team until round 16 after being dogged by hamstring problems at the start of 2011. The small forward soon demonstrated how much the Kangaroos’ forward line had missed his lightning pace, defensive pressure and opportunism.

He kicked three goals against the Western Bulldogs in round 17 and five (including four in the last quarter) against Hawthorn in round 20. Re-signed for the next two years last October.
