Ask Nathan a question on All Access O'Keefe came to the TAC Cup late in the season but was exciting with his strong marking up forward for the Eastern Ranges. The 193cm tall forward averaged three goals a match in seven games for the Ranges and was a third round selection in the 2008 National Draft. Despite his light frame, O'Keefe was quick to impress with a strong season in the Werribee reserves and earned a promotion to the Tigers’ senior line-up late in the season. Four goals against Geelong, and two against Bendigo in the final round will give O'Keefe plenty of confidence going into 2010. Darren Crocker 2009 review: He was coming from a fair way back. He didn't actually play a lot of TAC Cup footy – maybe six or seven games. Getting a few games of senior VFL footy into him was always going to be beneficial. He spent a lot of time in the VFL reserves but he got an opportunity towards the end of the year to come up and play VFL seniors and has shown signs that there's something there. There really is. He realises he's got to work hard and get stronger because he's only a lightly built kid.Draft history: 2008 NAB AFL Draft 4th round selection (North Melbourne) No. 59 overall.Player sponsors: Sponsor Nathan O'KeefeBecome a North Melbourne fan on FacebookFollow North Melbourne on Twitter
