Fans were given a taste of things to come on Tuesday evening as the Roos held a special open training session at Arden Street.

With only 12 days until the opening match of the season against Port Adelaide, it was a chance for supporters to make their own assessments on the Kangaroos' best 18.

The players were taken through a series of contested drills with Brad Scott back on his feet after skydiving 10,000 feet only hours earlier.

While most were there to see their heroes in action, the range of culturally diverse food offered by A Taste of Harmony was also a hit.
