Northerners



The Northerners is the official coterie group of The North Melbourne Football Club and established in 1967, making it one of the league’s oldest coteries.

In season 2011 we recorded membership growth and our highest ever financial contribution to the club of approximately $220,000. Our aim is to continually grow our contribution to the club but also grow the entertainment value to our members through their involvement.

“Season 2012 allows us to again be flexible with packages based around last year’s successful format of formal sit down and casual stand up functions,” said new Northerners President Mike McGarry.

“We found that both formats were enjoyed by our members and in 2012 we will once again include both formats as part of our package offering. Additionally, we can announce the introduction of our exciting new 5 game BLOCKBUSTER package, which will include home games against Essendon, Carlton and Melbourne, as well as away fixtures against Essendon and Carlton later in the season.

“Our match day functions cater for both corporate clients and families and offer members a fantastic opportunity to go to the football in comfort, be entertained pre-game and enjoy the game in the comfort of their own premium seat or behind glass in the function room.”

Season 2012 offers Northerner members the greatest selection of packages and functions ever and with our young side on the up there is no better time to become a Northerner.
